SIM card connects your mobile phone to mobile network. Your mobile number is associated with your SIM card. Without the SIM card, it is only possible to call the emergency number 112.
SIM card's PIN code protects your device from unauthorized use. Initial PIN code for Simpel calling card is 0000. Change the code, and keep the new code secret. The PIN can be changed via your phone's menu.
Some mobile phone functions require PIN2 code. Initial PIN2 code for Simpel calling card is 1111. The PIN2 can be changed via your phone's menu.
An incorrect PIN code can be entered up to 3 times, after which the card is blocked and it can be activated only by entering the PUK code written on the back side of Simpel's SIM card. If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 consecutive times, the SIM card is disabled and you will have to replace it.
If you enter the wrong PIN2 code 3 consecutive times, the SIM card is locked. To unlock the card, you will need PUK2 code written on the back side of Simpel's SIM card.
NB! Do not throw away the SIM card cover as this is the only place where PUK codes are stored.
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity)
IMEI code is mobile phone's unique "identification code". Your IMEI can be found on your device box or on the back of the device itself. You can also see the IMEI code on the phone display by dialing *#06#.
